February 2015 - April 2016 - North Baptist Church takes a lead role in
Stand UP for Brockton to rally the citizens of Brockton and to educate residents
and the Mass Gamin Commission about the problems with the proposed casino in
Brockton. On April 28, 2016 the decision was rendered to deny a casino
license in Brockton. Many hours of prayer, research and presentations went into
this battle. We praise the Lord for the victory! However, the real work has just
begun.
